Good Bite Inbox: "Have you been tuning into Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution TV show?  I have, and Jamie has inspired me to do my part in the Food Revolution. Jamie asked for citizens who are already involved in the food revolution to send videos into the show and answer the question:  'what is the problem your community is facing?'

I thought about this question and while the list of problems was long, one thing kept coming to the top.  People won’t eat food they don’t like. For many people, 'healthy' food is something they haven’t grown a taste for and they don’t eat what they don’t like.  So they keep eating junk, because they like it.    I don’t know many people that don’t want better health through food. But people hit a wall because they won’t eat food they don’t like, and they don’t have the skills to learn to like food.

I did something crazy and started a petition to find 1000 people in 30 days willing to learn to like a food they hate.  Signing the petition triggers a letter to Jamie Oliver letting him know they’ve joined the food revolution by learning to like more healthy food.  Not to mention I’m planting the seed with 1000 people that it is possible to like something you think hate.  I have 22 days to find 929 more people and meet my goal!  Yikes.

So if you’re game, I’m asking you to take action and sign my petition. (even if you’re not a picky eater, surely there is some nutritious food out there you’d rather not eat)...Here’s the link to the petition, and here is the link to the post I wrote when I announced the challenge on my blog."

So kids, it's up to you. Personally, I am a HUGE supporter of everything Jamie is doing in the realm of improving nutrition, specifically food offering in schools. Anything I can do to help...
