I'll just cut right to the chase: you're not really supposed to drink while pregnant. At least in this country that is what you're lead to believe. In France, women happily drink a glass of wine here and there while pregnant, but I am not an expert on this subject nor have I ever been pregnant, which is why non-alcoholic cocktails are the subject of today's discussion. Just because you're preggers doesn't mean you can't consume a delicious cocktail! As I see it, anyway. I've recruited the help of friend Natalie Bovis-Nelsen, author of Preggatinisâ„¢: Mixology for the Mom-to-Be, and The Bubbly Bride: Your Ultimate Wedding Cocktail Guide. Natalie is a mixology consultant, spirits and wine writer, and the creator of TheLiquidMuse.com, a portal for anything and everything cocktail. Below she shares two of her favorite non-alcoholic preggatini cocktails perfect for your holiday soiree.
