Salisbury steak is a classic American dish that dates back to the late 19th century. Though the recipe varies, it's generally made from ground beef plus ketchup, bread crumbs, an egg, and seasoning. This mixture is then formed into a large patty which is supposed to resemble a steak. Anyway, Mark Matsumoto of norecipes.com has simplified this process and rather than including a ton of ingredients, he adds Heinz 57 sauce plus a few spices to his ground beef for an incredible twist on Salisbury steak.
