Freshly picked strawberries are one of my favorite fruits, and just as much as I love eating these berries fresh, I equally enjoy organizing stunning desserts. Try out this easy recipe utilizes strawberries in a savory summer twist.

Strawberry Basil Cheese Balls

1 pound grated cheddar cheese

1 cup mayonnaise

1 cup minced pecans

½ cup minced fresh basil

1 cup strawberry jam

Combine cheese, pecans, mayonnaise, and basil; form into large balls. Spread jam evenly over each ball, chill, and serve with crackers and meats.
