Guess what?! It's time for a Good Bite contest! We've teamed up with House of Balsamic, a website and store devoted entirely to anything/everything balsamic for this incredible giveaway. Here's how the contest is going to work. Starting now and lasting until next Friday, June 11, we are calling for your best original balsamic vinegar recipe (bonus points for photos). Go to House of Balsamic, pick out your preferred vinegar, then let the creative juices flow! One recipe per person, can be anything at all from sweet to savory, cocktail to steak. All next week we will post the recipes on Good Bite where voting will be open to the public from Friday, June 11 to Friday, June 18. We will then test/cook the three recipes that receive the most votes and those dishes will be judged based on originality, use of vinegar, and taste. The winner walks away with this bottle of " Extra Vecchio Aceto Balsamico Tradizionale Di Modena" worth $245. I could actually drink a whole bottle of aged balsamic vinegar, it's liquid gold. Note to the winner and anyone else with big bucks: You don't want to cook with a vinegar like this, rather use it as a garnish to drizzle over vanilla panna cotta or atop tomatoes and burrata.
