Sparkling Basil Honey Julep

Need a cocktail recipe that'll wow your crowd this Holiday season? Kath Younger's got one that'll dazzle and basil 'em (depending on how you pronounce "basil," of course). Check it out!

Sparkling Basil Honey Julep

Â· 2 ounces bourbon, such as Makerâ€™s Mark

Â· 2 tsp honey

Â· 2 ounces seltzer water

Â· 3-4 basil leaves

Â· Ice

Take 3-4 basil leaves and shred by hand, tearing each leaf into 2-3 pieces. Pour bourbon into the glass followed by honey. Stir vigorously until the honey is well mixed. Fill the glass with ice cubes and top with seltzer. Stir to mix, and garnish with a few more basil leaves.
