Citrus Shrimp Skewers
makes about 10 skewers
1/2 pound shrimp, peeled, de-veined
1 medium clove of garlic, finely minced
2 Tablespoons vegetable oil
1 Teaspoon soy sauce
2 teaspoons fresh lime juice and extra for serving
1 ounce tequila
about 10 bamboo skewers, soaked in water for at least 20 minutes
To make the marinade: In bowl, mix garlic, oil, Heinz 57 sauce, soy sauce and fresh lime juice.
Add shrimp to bowl of mixture. Allow shrimp to marinade in sauce for about 20 minutes.
