I come from a family of major foodies, so growing up I was always the kid in school with the weird stinky lunch. I never ate standard sandwiches, my lunch usually consisted of leftovers from whatever crazy concoction my dad served up for dinner the night before. Sometimes it was tandoori chicken, risotto, and my favorite, leftover pesto. I always knew when I had pesto in my lunch bag because the aroma of fresh garlic would eminate from my backpack until lunchtime.

My son's fave lunch is anything that the school is serving that day (not my choice!) and when I was a kid my fave lunch was hot soup in a thermos :D justine417@comcast.net
