Chef Dave says: Go lightly with the Frangelico. The flavor is intense and has a tendency to overpower the drink. You just want a hint of the flavor in the background.
Banana Nut Martini
3 oz vodka
3 oz banana liqueur
Splash of Frangelico liqueur
1 banana, sliced, for garnish
Pour the vodka, banana liqueur, and a splash of Frangelico into a cocktail shaker. Tumble in a handful of ice and shake vigorously. Strain into a chilled martini glass.
For garnish, sprinkle a thinly sliced banana with sugar and use your kitchen torch to caramelize. Float banana slice into top of beverage.
