Pastry chef David Lebovitz worked in several restaurants in the San Francisco Bay Area, most notably at Chez Panisse in Berkeley, before moving to Paris. He is the author of five books, including The Great Book of Chocolate, The Perfect Scoop, and The Sweet Life in Paris.
